MILEStones is a Nashville based musical acknowledgement to jazz legend Miles Davis dedicated to paying homage to the late great trumpeter’s music. With a focus on the two “great quintets” he led in the 1950’s and 60’s, MILEStones sets out to bring back to life the mood and aura that made Miles' music so distinct, utilizing the exact arrangements and instrumentation that he recorded on so many of his classic albums. Led by drummer Brian Czach, MILEStones is a quintet that will take you on a nostalgic journey back to the music that changed the landscape of jazz music forever.

Originally from upstate New York, Brian Czach got a BA in percussion performance from Ithaca College (’98) where he studied with percussionist Gordon Stout. Brian has toured and played most major jazz clubs with jazz artist Tony DeSare, for which he recorded several albums with alongside jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli. Brian also recorded with Donald Vega, Lauren Meccia & Mike Frost, among others. He has appeared on stage with Don Rickles and his band, Kenny Vaughan, Dave Roe, Guthrie Trapp, Martin Nievera, Clint Holmes, Rick Faugno, among many others.
